Ok so heres the updated file: EPL REALISM PATCH 1.2 UPDATE REFIX

Includes more realistic fixture schedules

Ive repacked the 1.2 update and will now submit the file to filefront. More feedback is needed on the cups etc also the next face pack will soon arrive and i have a special secret project im also looking into . As for offcial update 4, i find this waste of time and a pain in the ****, as well as being to late in its release! If you install update 4 you will need to reinstall both the 1.2 and 1.2 update files + all your other patches again, dont think BF really think it through.

Anyway i hope all will now really enjoy this patch and as much feedback as poss please, as proven if you have a decent idea il implement and take it as far as possible. Also some offers for editing manager pics would be good as there are 300 in total! The faster i complete these the faster i can complete the database and and move to the next league

thats odd as they are all lit up on my screen + the dates are set in calender so i suggest something went wrong with the update install, which of my patches did you install? all working 100% for me.

You have started a new game and installed the update refix yes? saying it doesn't work without detail means i cant really help you. the update works 100%, so i suggest installing this correctly

i then installed 1.2 and had no promotion or relagation at all ive now installed 1.2 re fix and the problem is still the same no promotions/relagations at all


ive went into the editor and in england the relagation thing isnt lit up and says no teams to be relagated

Well other people confirm is working, so i suggest try reinstalling the rex fix otherwise as filefront is coming down to day im going to make a 1.2.1 which includes all fixes + removal of some double players and host it elsewhere. same goes for my face patch vol1 & 2 will be combined and rehosted.

1.2 refix is 100% working though lit up like an xmas tree , it will not tell you in the editor start new game. Its set to template hence editor stays blank.

Ok due to a couple of typos and exeter and torquay in wrong leagues im reposting the file, this is what happens when you work on patch in middle of morning lol. They are minor typos if you are one of the 5 who downloaded this before i noticed PM il tell you what to change or just download new link below and install over.

Hello mate. I have downloaded the latest patch, and looked in the editor and it looks as though the promotion button is still greyed out. Does this mean that there will not be promotions?
Perhaps if you could confirm where I could check it on the editor, then I can check that I am looking in the right place. I am looking in England>country settings>League system>Relegation rule>No relegation rule greyed out.

Stop looking in the editor already explained many times!

Is set to template so it ignores the editor and uses a script template try starting a game you will see the positions lit up for play-offs also in editor look in calender you will notice end of season fixtures 1 2 1 these are play-off fixtures. When you set to english league its always greyed out because its set to english system ie everything is set up for you

The game is very playable so enjoy..

hi gooner ive tried what you suggested and theres still no promotion/relagation at all i quickly started a new game after your 1.2.1 in the championship and the league system just goes down from 1-23 with no speration or anything lit up for playoffs promotion and relagation i have took a print screen if you would like to see it i wasnt sure how to get it up on the site

my email is in the readme but i have encountered some other problems in all honesy im considering chucking the cd in the bin as this game is so poorly made it is a complete nightmare and ive just about had all i can take of it. Defo wont even consider buying fm10, far as im concerned its lacking in all areas and there is an amazing amount of lazyness from bright future. if i was their boss id sack the lot of them for not having any foresight and being soooooooooooooooo lazy!

Anyway one thing that definatley does work is playoffs so send the pic if you want, but unless i change my mind later no further work on this in near future. orking on this game is like ramming a brickwall with your head

ITS BLEEPNG FIXED! is my birthday and the fact that my months of effort actually finally completely works for me is prob the best pesent il get!

I have over come my problems after three days banging my head against the wall! i now beleive i have a fully working never crashing version of 1.2.1 installed if dynamouse can test what i asked of him and he has the same issues i did il post the fix straight away.

But i now am working to a final version version of the lower leagues and manager/player pic + database compatiable with update 4! + few other things included

I will then work on some more exciting patches and move then to a league 2 update then league 1 etc

Hi all


Im from spain, I would like to ask a question for GOONER, I´ve jut installed your great megapatch Im my computer. But my question is the next : Finally Does your megapatch works ( the playoffs ) ??? Sorry because my english is a bit poor and I dont understand many things that people has write before my question

Ok heres the deal there is no further suppport on thispatch until i release the final i am now working on this again, so that answers many questions i received. There is a problem with the kit files which causes a crash in certain games. I must test each kit 1 by 1 and there are 213 kits to test! Think about it i must create a patch each time start game and test.

The work i have done is correct unfortunately as i mentioned BF have been very sloppy with their zdata files! Its not something im doing wrong as far as im concerned and all i want now is to finish this patch! Or the first full version anyway.

For those that have the knowledge this leaves you 1 option

1. Just use the country14.sav and the script file (although there are some problems reported with the cups) for obvious reasons i cant currently test this as the team i play with has the problem mentioned above.

2. Wait for me to sort this kit problem problem so i can fully test all aspects of patch, this is what i recommend soon as i sort this i will test the cups and then finish the pics and update database... apologies for this but i have spent 4 days making sense of the zdata mess im trying to add to! which includes files in random zdatas that arent even used etc. If wasnt for this problem id have been finished long time ago!

for those that do use only the countrysav and script file please report if cups are working correctly, if they are not il give you a fixed version

so yes the playoffs work but there are many problems i am fixing
